Terms of Service

Welcome to GujuLoveGuru ("GujuLoveGuru," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and GujuLoveGuru and govern your access to and use of our website, mobile experiences, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.

Important notice. These Terms contain a binding arbitration agreement and a class-action waiver (Section 14). They affect how disputes between you and us are resolved. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter into a contract, reside in the United States, and not be barred from using the Service under U.S. law. The Service is intended for Gujarati singles seeking serious relationships. By using the Service you represent that all information you provide is true, current, and accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity on your account. You agree to use a real name, recent and unaltered photos that clearly show your face, and accurate profile details. You may not create more than one account, sell or transfer your account, or allow another person to use it.

3. Identity verification

Access to core features requires submission of a government-issued photo ID and a live selfie. We use this information solely to confirm your identity and age. Verification is not a background check, a guarantee of safety, or an endorsement of any member. You remain solely responsible for your decisions to interact or meet with other members.

4. Membership and subscriptions

Core matching is free for the first 100 verified members until the community reaches 200 members, after which our paid plans take effect. We currently offer Quarterly ($89), Semi-annual ($149), and Yearly ($249) subscriptions, billed in U.S. dollars through our payment processor.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Premium; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current period. Prices and plans may change with notice before any renewal.

Refunds. Except where required by law (including statutory rights for residents of California, New York, and other states), subscription fees are non-refundable. Contact billing@gujuloveguru.com for billing questions.

5. License to use the Service

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for the sole purpose of meeting other members. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, frame, resell, or build a competing product from the Service.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the photos, prompts, messages, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant GujuLoveGuru a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for technical purposes such as resizing), and display Your Content for the limited purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the Service. You represent that you own or have all necessary rights to Your Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) harass, threaten, stalk, defraud, or impersonate anyone; (b) post nudity, sexually explicit material, hate speech, violence, or content involving minors; (c) solicit money, gifts, cryptocurrency, or commercial services; (d) use bots, scrapers, or automated tools; (e) share another member's private information without consent; (f) circumvent any safety or verification feature; or (g) use the Service for any unlawful purpose. Our Community Guidelines provide additional detail and are part of these Terms.

8. Reporting and moderation

You can report any profile, message, or photo from inside the app. We review reports and may, in our discretion, warn, restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate accounts. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so to enforce these Terms or the law.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, harm another member, or expose us to legal risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 10–15) will survive.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT YOU WILL MEET ANY PARTICULAR PERSON OR ACHIEVE ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GUJULOVEGURU AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

12. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GujuLoveGuru and its affiliates from any claim, damage, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, your interactions with other members, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. DMCA / copyright

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice that meets 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to our designated agent at dmca@gujuloveguru.com with: (a) the work you claim is infringed; (b) the location of the material on the Service; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good-faith belief; (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act; and (f) your physical or electronic signature.

14. Binding arbitration; class-action waiver

You and GujuLoveGuru agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, in the county of your residence or another mutually agreed location, except that either party may bring a claim in small-claims court if it qualifies. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this section. YOU AND GUJULOVEGURU WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY AND THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing legal@gujuloveguru.com with your name and the words "Arbitration Opt-Out."

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to Section 14, any action not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you in the app or by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
